Nice to meet you!
My name is Andrew Rojek, founder of Rojek Audio. Thank you for taking the time to check out my site. Audio Editing is a passion of mine and I'm glad I finally get to do what I love full time.
A little about me: I was born and raised in North Canton, Ohio. I graduated from the University of Mount Union with a Degree in Digital Media. Thanks to my efforts, I graduated early and with Summa Cum Laude Honors. During my time there I also worked at WRMU 91.1 as Promotions Director, eventually rising through the ranks as Program Director (head of staff) where I was later awarded the Cynthia Helper Radio Broadcast Award.
Setting my sights on new endeavors, I joined the Cleveland Cavaliers Marketing Team as a Marketing Coordinator, handling a wide range of duties including event planning, copy writing, social media, media buying and media correspondence.
While working for the Cavs was a blast and traveling to Oakland for the Finals was an awesome life experience, I found that I really missed working with audio. Thus, I submitted my resignation and began my next chapter at RECW.
The Recording Workshop (aka RECW), despite its ironic misnomer of a name, is one of the the premiere Audio Engineering Schools in the Eastern United States with an impressive roster of alumni including Jaquire King (Kings of Leon) and Nick Monson (Lady Gaga) to name a few.
After graduation I set my sights on becoming my own boss, setting up my own personal studio for Voice Over and Audio Books (another passion of mine) as well as Editing. Dating back to my time in radio, I always loved the opportunities to stitch together sound in a new and exciting way. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out, I look forward to creating something amazing together.
